We install frameless heavy-glass partition walls in 3/8" or 1/2" tempered, channel-set into floor and ceiling tracks or clamp-mounted directly to existing structure. Framed glass partition systems in aluminum are available where fire-rating, deflection limits, or seismic spec demand a framed approach. Frameless glass entry doors integrate into the partition run as Herculite-style heavy-glass doors with door, sidelight, and transom configurations, paired to commercial hardware. Conference room walls and meeting room enclosures, with or without integrated doors, are our most-spec'd application.
For retail and hospitality, we install display walls, entry vestibules, and storefront-style interior glass for low-rise retail interiors, restaurant entries, bar and dining separators, and hotel lobby partitions. Professional services build-outs (medical exam-room glass, legal client-facing offices, financial and accounting interiors) round out the typical scope. Most commercial heavy-glass partitions spec at 3/8" or 1/2" tempered, with 3/4" tempered for larger architectural spans. Laminated configurations are used for impact-rated or acoustic-upgraded assemblies. Edge work (polished, beveled, or seamed) and any hinge holes, handle cutouts, or door drilling are finished in-shop before tempering, because no edge or hole work can be done after a panel is tempered.
Each panel is heated to roughly 600 to 700°C and rapidly quenched with high-pressure air jets, leaving the glass 4 to 5 times stronger than annealed and producing the small-pebble break pattern required by ANSI Z97.1 and CPSC 16 CFR 1201 Cat. II. Hardware options include channel-set and clamp-mounted glazing, patch fittings for integrated doors, panic hardware where code-required, and closers and pivots. Glass choices at the on-site walk: clear, low-iron, frosted, textured, and back-painted.
