A neo-angle enclosure uses 5 flat tempered-glass panels arranged across a 90-degree interior corner: 2 side panels running parallel to the bathroom walls, 2 angled return panels set at 45 degrees, and 1 angled door panel hinged off a return and swinging outward into the room.
The 5-panel geometry is what creates the hexagonal footprint and the diagonal entry, and it's the reason neo-angle reads as a custom architectural choice rather than a standard corner box.
Most residential neo-angle enclosures fit corner openings from roughly 36 to 60 inches along each side wall, sized to the actual bathroom rather than a stock dimension. 2 side panels, 2 angled returns at 45°, and 1 angled door panel.
We build with 3/8" tempered heavy glass as the standard and step up to 1/2" tempered for larger panels or extra rigidity. All 5 panels are spec'd together at the on-site measure.
Hardware comes from CRL (C.R. Laurence), including heavy-glass hinges, clamps, and channel hardware in brushed nickel, chrome, matte black, and oil-rubbed bronze.
Neo-angle enclosures work best in standard interior corners where two perpendicular walls meet a flat tiled curb, which makes them a strong fit for guest baths, primary baths with a corner shower footprint, and custom new-construction baths where the corner shower is part of the design from day one.
Because the 5-panel layout creates 4 panel-to-panel interfaces plus 2 panel-to-wall interfaces, and because no real bathroom corner is perfectly square, every neo-angle project starts with on-site templating. We measure the actual opening, confirm the corner geometry, then fabricate and temper the 5 panels to that exact spec in our Northern Colorado shop.
Custom neo-angle enclosures install in 1–2 weeks from approved measurement, vs. 2–3 weeks for vendors who outsource shower-door fabrication out of state. Install day itself is typically one day once the glass arrives.
Squeegee the glass after every use to keep water spotting and soap film off all 5 panels.
Skip abrasive cleaners and anything ammonia-based; use a non-abrasive glass cleaner to protect the glass and hardware.
Pay extra attention to the 2 angled-return interfaces where water can pool if it's not wiped down after use.
Consider an optional factory-applied Diamon-Fusion hydrophobic coating for hard-water defense in Northern Colorado conditions.
A neo-angle shower door is a 5-sided frameless enclosure that fits a 90-degree corner with the door set at a 45-degree angle from each side wall. A standard 90-degree corner enclosure uses 3 panels with the door at a right angle; a neo-angle uses 5 panels and opens diagonal floor space.
Custom neo-angle enclosures are sized to the specific corner opening, typically fitting wall pairs from roughly 36 to 60 inches along each side. Glass is 3/8" or 1/2" tempered heavy glass, with the larger thickness reserved for bigger panels or extra rigidity. The exact panel dimensions, return-panel angle, and hinge placement depend on the corner squareness, the curb width, and the structural support available at the walls.
Custom neo-angle enclosures price above flat-panel frameless doors because the 5-panel geometry requires more fabrication time and more hardware interfaces per project. Cost varies by opening size, glass thickness (3/8" or 1/2"), hardware finish, and whether a hydrophobic coating is added, so every quote is project-specific rather than off a price sheet.
Moffat installs most custom neo-angle shower doors in 1–2 weeks from approved measurement. Vendors who outsource shower-door fabrication out of state typically run 2–3 weeks. Our Northern Colorado shop tempers and finishes every panel locally, and install day itself is usually a single day once the glass arrives.

I do not hesitate to recommend Moffat Glass
"We needed our patio screen door replaced. Moffat answered the phone (something that 3 other businesses did not do), scheduled someone to come measure the same day, manufactured our non-standard sized door and installed it within a week. We have yet to hear from the other businesses we contacted who told us they would 'get right back' to us. The quality of customer service was very good. Everyone was friendly, professional, and expressed appreciation for our business. I do not hesitate to recommend Moffat Glass. They have been in Greeley for a long time and I can see why they have lasted."
I will absolutely be using Moffat again and I highly recommend them!
