Tempered safety glass. The baseline layup: 3/8" or 1/2" tempered meeting ANSI Z97.1 and CPSC 16 CFR 1201 Cat. II for entries, sidelights, low partitions, and doors in human-impact zones.
Laminated security glass. A PVB or SGP interlayer between two plies for smash-and-grab resistance on jewelry display, cash-handling counters, dispensary partitions, and storefronts.
Forced-entry-resistant glass. The next step up: laminated layups tested to ASTM F1233.
Bullet-resistant glass. Rated under UL 752, Levels 1 through 8, in multi-ply glass-clad polycarbonate, acrylic, or glass-clad acrylic for banks, credit unions, jewelers, and dispensaries. The honest framing matters: bullet-resistant, not bulletproof. UL 752 ratings describe the threat level the layup is rated to resist.
Blast-mitigation glass. Laminated layups engineered to GSA TS-01 or ASTM F1642 for institutional buildings.
Impact-rated storefront glass. Laminated for Front Range hail and vandalism resilience; see our storefront glass repair and installation service. Every tier above is scoped to low-rise commercial up to 4 stories, often paired with commercial window and door installation.
