Custom Glass Shower Enclosures in Red Feather Lakes

We design and install frameless, semi-frameless, and framed shower enclosures sized to the cabin bathroom, not to a nominal opening. Every shower starts with an on-site template so the glass meets the tile and curb cleanly, then panels are cut and tempered in our Northern Colorado shop. Crystal Lakes cabin-remodel bathrooms drive most of our frameless heavy-glass shower work in the Red Feather corridor, where existing un-square cabin openings need glass cut to the actual room rather than pulled from stock. Hardware is finished with CRL (C.R. Laurence) sets engineered for long-term alignment and corrosion resistance. Because we fabricate in-house, custom shower enclosures install in roughly 1 to 2 weeks from approved measurement, against the 2 to 3 weeks typical when vendors outsource fabrication out of state. We cut and install custom mirrors sized to the wall, not the box-store sheet size. Vanity mirrors, wall-to-wall sheets, decorative framed pieces, closet door mirrors, and gym or exercise-room installations all start from on-site measurement, including cabin gyms that are an emerging category for second-home buyers. We install frameless structural railings, post-and-clamp systems, standoff (point-fixed) railings, and capped top-rail designs. Glass is typically 3/8" tempered for interior loft runs and 1/2" tempered or tempered-laminated for exterior decks, with hardware selected for high-altitude UV and freeze-thaw exposure. At 8,300 feet, laminated layups add safety margin against impact and freeze-thaw stress on exposed deck runs. Installs meet Colorado-adopted IBC guardrail heights (42" at decks and balconies, 34" at stair runs) with engineered hardware spacing for load. Foggy Window and IGU Repair at Altitude

An insulated glass unit (IGU) is the sealed double-pane piece inside a window frame. When the seal fails, moisture gets between the panes and shows up as fog or condensation that won't wipe away. At 8,300 feet, rapid pressure differential fatigues sealed-unit seals faster than valley homes, so foggy windows show up earlier on Red Feather Lakes cabins. We measure the failed unit, confirm whether the IGU alone has failed or the frame needs attention, and order a factory-built replacement sized to the existing sash. We cut protective tabletops for hand-built cabin furniture and stone surfaces, custom shelves for bathrooms, displays, and built-in cabin lofts, and one-off specialty pieces like replacement panes, oddly shaped insert glass, and cabin picture-window replacement glass on aging window-walls. Edges are flat-polished, beveled, or pencil-polished depending on the use.
