Custom Shower Enclosures

We design and install frameless, semi-frameless, and framed shower enclosures sized to your bathroom, not to a nominal opening. Every shower starts with an on-site template so the glass meets the tile and curb cleanly, then the panels are cut and tempered in our Northern Colorado shop. TPC Colorado at Heron Lakes drives most of our frameless heavy-glass shower work in Berthoud, where Toll Brothers spec-stage builds and adjacent custom filings select premium glass at the design table, ideally before drywall closes so we can template the room rather than pull stock panels. Glass is finished with CRL (C.R. Laurence) hardware engineered for long-term alignment and corrosion resistance. Because we fabricate in-house, custom shower enclosures install in roughly 1 to 2 weeks from approved measurement, against the 2 to 3 weeks typical when vendors outsource fabrication out of state.

MIRRORS

Custom Mirrors

We cut and install custom mirrors sized to the wall, not the box-store sheet size. Vanity mirrors, wall-to-wall sheets, decorative framed pieces, gym and dance studio installations, and closet door mirrors all start from on-site measurement. For Heritage Berthoud Main Street restoration projects, we cut around existing trim, outlets, and out-of-square walls so the mirror sits flush without forced gaps. We also handle mirror repair: re-silvering edge-damaged pieces, replacing cracked or chipped panels, and swapping older clip-mounted mirrors for cleaner adhesive or hidden-channel installs. Edge work runs from standard flat-polished to beveled and ogee for higher-end residential projects.

Glass Railings

Glass railings work for decks, stairs, balconies, mezzanines, and pool surrounds. We install frameless structural railings, post-and-clamp systems, standoff (point-fixed) railings, and capped top-rail designs. Glass is typically 3/8" tempered for interior runs and 1/2" tempered or tempered-laminated for exterior decks, with hardware selected for Front Range UV and freeze-thaw exposure. Installs meet Colorado-adopted IBC guardrail heights (42" at decks and balconies, 34" at stair runs) with engineered hardware spacing for load. Glass railings are particularly common on Carter Lake foothills-edge custom decks west of Berthoud and on Heron Lakes lakefront and mountain-view custom-home decks, where homeowners want the view to read uninterrupted.

IGUS

Foggy Window & IGU Repair

An insulated glass unit (IGU) is the sealed double-pane piece inside a window frame. When the seal fails, moisture gets between the panes and shows up as fog or condensation that won't wipe away. We measure the failed unit, confirm whether the IGU alone has failed or the frame needs attention, and order a factory-built replacement sized to the existing sash. Replacement IGUs typically run 5 to 10 business days from the manufacturer for any installer, since they ship regardless of who's installing. New units carry a 10-year pro-rated manufacturer warranty on the seal. On central-Berthoud homes with aging Front Range exposure, we check adjacent units for early seal wear.

Heavy Glass: Partitions, Doors & Wine Displays

Heavy glass is Moffat's category, and Berthoud's premium new-build corridor is where it shows up most. Wall partitions and heavy-glass doors are fabricated and tempered in our Northern Colorado shop, sized to the exact opening rather than ordered as stock. TPC Colorado at Heron Lakes and the adjacent custom filings drive most of our heavy-glass work in Berthoud, where a partition or pivot door reading across an open Toll Brothers floor plan needs glass cut, tempered, and edge-finished to spec, and back-lit climate-controlled wine displays ask the same of the cut and the hardware. In-house fabrication keeps the lead time at 1 to 2 weeks from approved measurement on heavy-glass projects, against the 2 to 3 weeks that comes with outsourced cutting. Designs range from full frameless partitions and pivot doors to channel-set wine walls with custom-cut shelving, finished with our premium hardware partner.

Commercial Glass

We work on commercial projects up to four stories: low-rise storefronts, restoration retrofits, restaurant and retail conversions, interior partitions, and commercial mirrors along Berthoud's Main Street historic district and US 287 corridor. The Heritage Berthoud Hotel area, the Berthoud Historical Society core, and the Main Street brick commercial stretch generate steady work in storefront replacement, restoration glazing, and interior office partitions for small-business owners and restoration GCs. We cut protective tabletops for wood and stone furniture, custom shelves for bathrooms, displays, retail fixtures, and curio cabinets, and one-off specialty pieces like replacement panes, oddly shaped insert glass, and custom-fit fillers for furniture repair. Edges are flat-polished, beveled, or pencil-polished depending on the use.
